I’m a writer and artist who graduated from Yale University with a degree in Humanities. My journalism has appeared in The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Texas Monthly.

Select Works

Exhibited in the Spring of 2026: oil triptych on canvas. Designed as a headboard or to go over a small couch.
The work is inspired by British artist Tracy Emin who began displaying her bed in 1988, a piece that many critics describe as a coming of age. Emin said the work is a “portrait of a young woman, and how time affects us all.” In the dirty sheets and mess of personal belongings, we are supposed to be imparted with a gritty and profound sense of youth of love and of all the beautiful and unsavory things that may accompany a bed. True to form, my bed is neater, less scandalous, and a work of delightful whim.

Come See My Bed

Thinking, In Three Parts

Series in Progress: Oil on Canvas Panel
Here is one examples of a working series showing three iterations of the same concept. Each is a stage along the same process of thinking or painting or creating.

Artificial Windows

Exhibited in the Spring of 2026: Oil on Canvas. Designed for a room without a lot of natural light or sense of depth, these paintings are meant to stimulate the experience of having a window-filled room. They can be hung together or on adjoining walls.
